Struggles / Inspirations

Ever since I got back to HK, I've been stressed out over my weight and appearance. To be honest, the 4 lbs weight gain has really upset me.. but here's a thank you to all you lovelies for your kindest comments and a huge thank you to the boyf for constantly telling me that I'm beautiful. I (kinda) have come to a realization that being 4 lbs heavier isn't that big of a deal. As upset as I am, I'm telling myself that it's really not that big of a deal and I can slowly work it out to lose it. So today I went to the gym and pushed myself on the bike..
I'm so proud of myself for doing 25.99km in 45mins ♥! And you lovelies are right, diet pills are never good for anyone. Thank you for the supportive comments :)

Here's a little something for myself or anyone who's also struggling with their weight.
Tbh, I'm so insecure right now I'm tearing up over these two pictures above..

  1. Hi Annick, lovely and motivating quotes. I know what you mean, it is always hard to start. What is helping me is checking my weight every day. It keeps me motivated. I also drink freshly squeezed orange juice every morning on empty stomach and for dinner I eat twice a week salad and once a week mixture of cornflakes. The rest of the week I eat what I want. Also try not to eat after 7pm. It really helps to loose the weight.

  5. Congrats.. and I know how you feel,
    I've actually lost around 15 kg since february thanks to healthier eating (aka diet) and going to the gym. There's actually no need of diet pills only being and eating healthier and doing sports and wanting to change.

  6. yeah it sucks when we gain weight because is really hard to loose it but with hard work and will power everybody can reach their desire weight. Great inspiration images and so proud of you for working out so hard!

    I am not trying to say that weight gain is nothing but yes it will gradually go, don't stress that much
    You know I have always been 45 kg and one time I gains 8 kgs. I carried and tried to do any and everything but not so good results.
    Then I just resided to take it slow and guess it worked and I lost a lot

  18. I honestly think you look beautiful and you don't need to worry about your weight, but the best thing is when you feel comfortable with your own body and weight. I'm naturally skinny yet I exercise often and go to the gym, it makes me feel better and I think that is the most important. You should never listen to mean comments of others, if you will ever get any, and know you are beautiful from the inside and out. I hope you feel better and don't worry anymore :)

  22. Stay strong, that's the most important part. That's a lot of km on the bike, congrats. My friend wants me to run a half marathon with her in September and I have NO idea how I'm going to be able to do that.

  28. You are beautiful as you are!! You really do not need to lose weight. Believe me, body confidence doesn't come with losing weight. If those pictures make you feel insecure than don't surround yourself with them! You deserve so much better than that :) xx

  30. I loved this post! And it's true, don't take slimming pills, you can do it with exercising - look at that 25 km! in 45 min! I am not able to do that! Nearly 26 km! 4 lbs are not that much and you'll see they will be gone soon! Keep going! And please share with us your readers, the results to motivate us too! Have a great week! denisesplanet.com
